Established in 1930, Burnham Sailing Club is renowned for its mid-week evening racing programme which attracts a wider range of boats, from cruiser racers to one-designs (squibs, RS Elites, 707’s, RBODs) and adult and junior dinghies.
We are a great family orientated club, offering Friday evening junior training with some lively coaching and fun on the water. It is also an opportunity for non-sailors and parents to socialize at the club house or on the sea wall and deck, which always proves to be a great start to the weekend when additional sailing takes place.

Twice now Caroline has taken part in the Maldon mud run and donated part of her funds to Burnham Sailing Club!! The first time her and her family weren't even members, they were passing by and had read about one of our club engines having been stolen and wanted to help . Just over £300 has been gifted now!! Thank you.
